ASP.NET Developer Number 41 Media Corporation, located in Victoria, BC, is looking for an experienced ASP.NET developer with expertise in all conventional and emerging technologies related to web software development, including data modeling, and database construction and administration. A solid understanding of the principles of user-centred interface design is a valuable asset. With the support of our systems analysts, project managers, interface designers, information architects, and technical writers, you will be building complex software at the forefront of web development. Either a bachelor's degree in computer science, a technology diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ? Expert knowledge of ASP.Net development and examples of ASP.Net project experience. ? Data modeling and database construction experience on various platforms, primarily MS SQL Server. ? Development experience with COM, IIS, Visual Studio, and MS Server. ? Excellent problem-solving skills. ? Ability to communicate effectively with a dynamic team, including expressing your ideas clearly and asking appropriate questions whenever necessary. ? Ability to manage time efficiently and finish tasks on schedule. Definitely an asset ? Designation as a Microsoft Certified Application Developer. ? Understanding of the principles of user-centred interface design. ? Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and other web technologies. ? Prior experience with ASP, Perl, JSP, Java, XSL, C/C++, VB, Coldfusion, MySQL, and/or Oracle. Be prepared to give examples of your work that clearly demonstrate your abilities.
