1 years contract option for a further 1 year extensionStart Date: September 6th 2011End Date: September 5th, 2012The client's Implementation project requires a Business Analyst to assist with the consistent implementation of applications and technology within the program. The program vision is a solution that supports primary care service gaps and introduces transformational change at community and community funded agencies. This initiative will improve: • client access to supported self managed care on a regular basis • the continuity of client information through the integration of systemsProject Approach• Expansion of the existing program, integration into the implemented Accuro EMR, and the addition of newly identified functional requirements and interfaces identified over the duration of the implementations. Applications potentially enabling the functions are: Electronic Health Record (iEHR), Momentum (clinical systems), Procura (Homecare Scheduling), Panorama (elements of Public Health such as Immunization), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Custom Applications (specialized services).Electronic Medical Records are beginning to be installed now. The scope of installations may include WRHA operated sites as well as WRHA-funded sites operated by community agencies. This position requires strong Business Analysis Skills with a very strong understanding of opportunities, methodologies and tools. Working in a team setting to collaborate, gather, collect and document functional and technical Requirements. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Project experience relating to health service delivery and/or community based health information systems preferred. The Business Analyst will work eHealth and WRHA to help revise and influence the WRHA EMR implementations. The Analyst will be working with a Project Manager and a cross-functional working group of program representatives to create the project deliverables.The Business Analyst may be assigned to other projects as required.Project Deliverables1. Documentation as requiredIn addition to general responsibilitiesThe Business Analyst will be expected to:• Work independently but under direction of the Project Manager • Identify site requirements• Identify user requirements• Assist with Communication planning• Communicate with the users and provide proper documentation on their current and future solution• Work with Operations to ensure smooth transition• Collect desktop information • Provide onsite support during go lives• Help to coordinate training and testing activities• Create various Plans• Identify all issues and risks
