Position: Business Systems Analyst (E Commerce) Location: Richmond Hill Salary: Open Responsibilities Work on multiple concurrent projects in an ongoing changing environment Participate in regular design meetings with the Client and front-end design partner Participate in regular data integration planning meetings with the client Regularly identify usability problems and make suggestions for improvement Identify and enforce eCommerce standards and best practices Collect input from stakeholders and end users in order to determine detailed feature requirements for the eCommerce site Collaborate as part of a team to create Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) based on front-end designs and back-end data and configuration requirements Exercise independent judgment within the eCommerce software platform's feature set to identify solutions for the Client Participate in regular project status and action meetings with Project Delivery Group Test software with the understanding of bugs that are critical to the end-user and what features and functionality are in-scope or out of scope Create documentation and train end users on the system features and functionality Support multiple application development and implementation teams Review, evaluate and update eCommerce site documentation Qualification and Skills Exhibit solid communication skills, both written and verbal with ability to communicate and articulate technical information into layman terms Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Initiative and organizational skills Strong results orientation Able to adapt and quickly develop in-depth technical understanding of new/different applications Strong ability to analyze situations, diagnose problems, and develop and implement solutions, often within narrow time frames. Must be a team player willing to work on a variety of technical initiatives Must have the ability to work independently and identify priorities for completion of multiple tasks / projects under pressure. Ability to prioritize and follow-up on work Excellent organizational skills and analytical skills Detail oriented Educational/Technical Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience 3+ years in a Developer or Software Analyst Role Strong experience with Microsoft development tools and database environments 2+ years' experience in online applications preferably eCommerce resume@3kc.ca
