Location: TorontoContract: 7 MonthsThe Consultant will be responsible for:Using the documentation on legacy reports (functionality and business requirements) prepared bysystems analysts in conjunction with the client (owner and user of the RIMS application), developCognos reports using Cognos 8 BI reporting tools;Developing technical components for importing/migrating legacy data from the RIMS application;Building Cognos 8 BI security over the reports to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive HRdata;Working with clients to test reports and make changes to report design as required;Understanding, managing and documenting a diverse set of business and technicalrequirements;Preparing, performing and documenting system integration testing;Providing technical consulting expertise on application, database infrastructure, interfaces,conversions, and customizations;Providing input into contingency plans in order to mitigate risk where and when appropriate.The consultant will work as part of a team led by a Project Lead and be accountable directly to the Project Lead.resume@3kc.ca
