Quartech Systems Limited is seeking Intermediate and Senior Database Administrators to work at Vancouver and Victoria based client sites.Minimum Qualifications: • 5 or more years of experience with Database Administration • Extensive hands on experience with database technologies • Working knowledge of database backup technologies and procedures • Extensive experience transforming logical data models into physical databases to support application requirements • Excellent ability to design and implement database maintenance plans • Extensive experience with data replicationDesired Skills and Experience: • Hands on experience with DB2, IMS, Oracle and/or MS SQL Server • Database Administration certification or higher certificates • Experience in large, complex project environments • Good communication skills • Ability to work well under pressure • Complete Software Development Life Cycle experiencePlease visit www.Quartech.com to learn more about Quartech Systems Limited and to view a complete list of current opportunities.
