Description Reporting to the Executive Director, Information Technology, you will be responsible for developing the sourcing strategy comprising internal and external services, in line with business unit expectations and corporate financial/procurement models. You must also build and maintain the IT services portfolio by determining what services need to be provided, evaluating market prices to ensure that our services are competitive, and developing a tool to measure satisfaction with IT services. Applying your sound judgment and communication skills, you will prepare the IT organization for the acquisition and management of new types of services, such as cloud computing.You must also develop an external-supplier management strategy for all IT services, then develop an associated framework (organization and processes) to derive value from the services provided and forge new partnerships.To this end, your experience managing outsourced IT services will be required when categorizing IT providers; determining which providers merit strategic attention; developing service levels based on the value of services and expected business results; and establishing a mechanism for explaining the costs of each service.Your leadership and interpersonal skills will enable you to interact with other IT managers based primarily in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa when implementing strategies. You will be required to motivate and guide them on the strategic vision and thinking related to service, sourcing and supplier management.Your ability to communicate in English and French will allow you to interact effectively with key partners located in Canada and the United States.PrA©requis/Requirements • Bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent• 10+ years of experience in IT• 5+ years of experience managing outsourced IT services (e.g., cloud computing, SaaS)• 5+ years of experience managing staff and teams in a matrix organization• Significant breadth of knowledge and understanding, from a managerial and technical perspective, in key areas of information technology, including architecture, applications development, data management, operations support, security, business continuity, and disaster recovery• Knowledge of management practices such as supervision, project/team management, as well as practices and procedures for setting budgets, recruitment, procurement, and contract management• Knowledge of sourcing and supplier management best practices• Knowledge of the ITIL methodology a major asset• Knowledge of the media industry an asset• Proven ability to make strategic decisions (e.g., high-level IT planning) and propose innovative solutions to corporate partners• Proven experience developing strong working relationships with internal clients, peer groups and external partners• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills• Willing to travel (15%) between Montreal, Ottawa and TorontoFOR BETTER RESULTS, PLEASE APPLY ON LINE >>> WWW.ALTEO.CA
