Our client is redefining social media analytics by giving corporations, marketers, public relations agencies and advertisers the intelligence and insight needed to make smarter business and strategic decisions. They bring business intelligence to social media, providing instant and unlimited access to all social media conversations to quickly see what's happening, why it's happening, and who's driving the conversations. Through the use of contextual text analytics and data mining technology, our client collects data from blogs, Twitter, social networks, messages, boards, wikis and major new sources enabling best of breed social monitoring, analysis, collaboration and engagement solutions. Director of Inside Sales, Toronto; The inside sales manager will be responsible initially for 6 inside sales representatives selling our client's product suite with the goal of exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual new business quotas. Over the next 12 months, the position will be responsible for doubling headcount, integrating additional products into the sales cycle and formulating and executing on a strategy of sourcing opportunities on top of fielding marketing leads. Responsibilities:• Facilitate the implementation of a consistent territory team model that optimizes sales team effectiveness. Champions the structure and process within the region. • Establish and manage a sales process from identification, qualification and close optimizing market opportunity and staff efficiency• Communicate critical information in regularly scheduled team and one on one meetings, to advance the understanding and execution of key initiatives, usage of appropriate marketing tools and information to deliver high impact messages to clients • Coordination with Field Sales Reps and Managers to optimize deal and client opportunity, including weekly management calls, quarterly summits and annual sales conference• Work Directly with EVP of Sales on Inside sales strategy as a key component of the global sales strategyCollaborate with Director of Account Management and VP of Operations on account transition, up sell and best practicesQualifications:• 7-10 years' experience in a high growth, Social Media or Media sales environment• Proven sales management track record• Excellent problem-solving, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills • Excellent understanding of the Social Media industry• Strong working knowledge of SaaS Sales process, implementation strategy, coaching and measurement• Experience with both Sales and Marketing Initiatives
