Our client, a highly awarded Toronto agency is seeking a high level Program Director to oversee all facets of project development and delivery within a designated Business Unit. The Program Director reports to the VP of Information Technology and will provide leadership and direction to all internal teams, ensuring the smooth execution of planned projects.Key Responsibilities•Develops schedules and budgets that are reflective of the Scope of Work•Works with the Director of Operations in process management, financial management and the scoping process•Creates partnering relationships with clients, vendors and partner agencies•Acts as an escalation point for any conflicts and leads team members to achieve possible resolutions•Communicates changes to plan and resulting implications to senior leaders•Predicts and manages cost/timing overruns and can estimate the resulting impact•Identifies gaps in project plans and educates team on how to resolve any barriers•Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis•Oversee day-to-day operations of the Project Managers within a designated Business Unit, managing and providing leadershipDesired Skills & Experience•7-10 years experience in Project Management within a digital and/or integrated agency environment•7-10 years of leadership and/or management experience•7-10 years experience managing large, complex, cross-functional projects•Highly developed communication skills•Experience with CPG, Automotive or Financial Services space•Highly organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment•Strong team-building and leadership skills•Clear understanding of development lifecycle within emerging technology space•PMP a must•Bilingual (French/English) an assetFor more information on this role please contact: Michael McCreadie at mmccreadie@hireglyphics.com or 416-583-2030 x 2004
