What can you expect in the Ecommerce Sales Representative's position?In the Sales Representative role you will prospect, lead sales calls, deliver demonstrations of our application to prospective clients, and make presentations that emphasize the competitive advantage of our leading ecommerce technology. You will also tailor your demonstrations to fit specific client's needs or requirements, provide feedback to product management on client's needs, requests and suggestions, as well as participate in the development of replies to RFPs and other requests. 1. Create and deliver on account planning strategy2. Prospect and manage leads to amplify business to business prospect's interest in our offerings 3. Convert qualified opportunities into closed sales4. Document traction and plan next steps using Salesforce.com5. Develop strong relationships with customers and internal staff at Elastic Path, specifically our sales team 6. Meet target goals and surpass sales quotasOur Sales Representative will travel approximately 25 - 50% of the time and we want to be sure you are more than comfortable with that, heck, we bet it even excites you?What kind of background is required to thrive in this position?• At least 5-7 years of experience in complex ecommerce sales • Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent• Experience working on average deal size of + $500,000• Experience selling software is an asset• A self-starter mentality, and the ability to make intelligent independent decisions • A proven track record of exceeding expectations and an aggressive attitude towards sales and closing (hunter mentality) • An ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and work well in a time-sensitive sales environment • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsBragging rightsFounded in 2000, Elastic Path is privately held and has grown organically with recent exponential growth; we've doubled revenue every year for the past three consecutive years.
