Our client, a software services firm specializing in business intelligence solutions and enterprise software implementations, is seeing a enterprise software analyst to join their team of technology professions.Primary Duties:- Derive and understand client business needs, and document findings in functional specifications; strong written, verbal and client management skills are a must - Work closely with the technical team and the project manager in solution design - Design and implement custom software features & functionality - Design and implement data cleansing & extract/transform/load strategies - Coordinate quality assurance and testing phases of projects - Work with clients to assess technical readiness and plan for software rollout - Assist project manager with supporting deployed projects - Effectively manage clients relationships with senior management and business usersQualifications- 2+ years experience in a software/technical consultant or systems analyst role - Must be comfortable with emerging technologies, learning new software, understanding a data model and an object model, writing SQL queries, and writing design specifications - Able to work efficiently with developers to ensure custom functionality is developed as per the specifications - Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, etc. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Travel up to 30% - Eligible for business travel to the USTechnical & Business Requirements- Knowledge of software development & implementation life cycles - Experience with major relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server 2005/2008, etc.) - Understanding of OLAP Databases (MS Analysis Services, Applix TM1, Oracle Essbase, etc.) - Understanding of ETL / DTS (MS-SQL 2000 DTS, MS-SQL 2005/2008 Integration Services, Informatica, etc.)Knowledge of the following technologies is considered an asset:- C# .NET, ASP.NET with C#, Java - Microsoft SQL Server/BI Stack, Cognos, MicroStrategy, Business ObjectsThis is a full-time permanent position.
