With is patent pending Vision Interactive software, crowds in stadiums and arenas engage with each other to compete, vote, cooperate and control graphics on arena or stadium video screens. Game ProgrammerOur requirement is for a seasoned Game Programmer to drive the development of CrowdWave's next generation of casual games. The Game Programmer will participate in the creation of innovative code solutions for multiple projects, working with a small team of developers, following best practices and approaches in the production of a slate of games. Under guidance from the Game Director, this person will contribute in the creation of new interactive apps & related game play from concept to delivery, and be instrumental in integrating the latest in new systems and technologies, pushing the limits of CrowdWave's proprietary vision interactive consoles.Qualifications? Minimum 3+ years casual game industry or related game development experience? Degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or other relevant program? Experience in all areas of Flash development including: ActionScript 3, XML, Flex, AIR? Strong programming knowledge with several languages and platforms, including C++, Java, HTML, with an emphasis on OOP? Experience coding for multithreading systems, as well as with CPU and memory optimization? Experience with inter process communication, connecting between flash games and other programs developed in Visual Basic or C++? Demonstrated experience working on multiple projects, priorities and deadlines? A natural feeling for and understanding of good game-play mechanics? Outstanding portfolio, demonstrating excellence in game creation, with a wide range of game styles Responsibilities? Contribute to the execution of the project's high level game play design & direction? Work closely with other departments to develop game-play parameters while still maintaining the initial vision? Complete all programming tasks, while accurately anticipating and identifying critical impediments to achieving game development project goals & timeline? Actively contribute to development of the code architecture for all games, while contributing to the implementation of code performance best practices -- including code optimization and efficiency standards, game versioning practices, project life cycle documentation and code commenting? Mentor junior programmers in the production of all code development for our games, placing emphasis on quality, iteration speed, and efficiency? Participate with other team members in new game ideation & development meetings, as well as existing game reviews and critiques, with the goal of identifying new, better game play mechanics and full game products? Create and contribute to game development documentation, including wireframes and technical notes? Design, develop and write code -- including testing and debugging code, for the full range of game products
