The successful candidate will:- Plan, design and implement security controls and associated software - Ensure security solutions are in 100% legislation compliance through quality analysis and thorough documentation- Create and present client proposals detailing advanced IT Security solutions that fully address client business needs- Assist in the development of technical IT Security Policies and Procedures- Report to Information Security Practice LeadProfessional Qualifications & Experience- Technical diploma/degree in a related technical discipline with 8+ years experience with IT security practices, technologies, and their related support processes. - 3+ years of leadership/management experience is preferred. Working knowledge of:- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008- Linux and AIX system admin skill- McAfee HIPS, Antivirus, EPO & Enterprise solution experience is a must skill- Microsoft Active Directory and/or Sun Enterprise Directory concepts, security, and architecture- Microsoft and Entrust Certificate Authority- Web Content Filtering technology and support- Networking and infrastructure security hardening - Good understanding of overall security concepts- Intrusion Prevention System support - Spam filtering technology- Event based reporting, logging and security event investigation- Threat Risk Analysis concepts- Patch criticality assessments, auditing, and validation- Encryption services and concepts including hard drive encryption - Vulnerability assessments- Knowledge of appropriate legislation / compliances (eg. PIPEDA, PCI DSS)- Strong Communication skills and customer service orientation- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail- Ability to lead and manage a team while ensuring job satisfaction of those members- Strong ability to assess the situation and provide recommendations to best suit the client- Detailed technical knowledge of Infrastructure, Operational, and Security solutions and concepts- Enterprise level change management / problem management experience- Possession of an industry recognized Security certification is an asset (CISSP and/or CISM is preferable.)resume@3kc.ca
