It's a vibrant, growing business and currently we are recruiting for a full-time Front-end Developer to join the Mosaic Creative & Interactive Services team in our Toronto Office. What we're looking for:We're looking for a HTML/CSS master with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to construct a site from start to finish. Your role will be to bridge the gap between the talents of the design team and our development team. You'll take beautiful designs and be an integral part of bringing them to life across many applications and many devices for some of North America's biggest brands.Qualifications:• Diploma/Degree in Web Design• An online portfolio demonstrating past work and a range of the skills• Minimum 3 years of Web Design experience• Expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite• Proficient in coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript• Experience working with front-end development for Mobile Apps and Mobile-enabled websites• Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing and quality assurance• Experience with Flash production & integration• Experience working back and forth with developers• Strong visual design sense and an understanding of interface design and usability principles• Strong organizational skills• Comfortable working independently and in collaborative scenariosTechnical Experience Required:• Expert in HTML/XHTML • Expert in CSS knowledge • Intermediate Javascript/JQuery • Graphic Optimization and slicingAdditional Preferred Qualifications:• Intermediate knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 • Experience working in the Ruby on Rails framework
