Position OverviewMicroserve's client requires an Intermediate System Analyst (Workstation Services Support Analyst) to join its team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be required to accurately and efficiently maintain and troubleshoot workstation hardware, software and network related issues with general direction from the Team Leader and subsequent liaison with the client community. They will be expected to work both independently and within designated teams and should require little direction. The successful candidate will be involved in tasks ranging from problem recognition through final resolution implementation and testing in a complex business and technical environment.Mandatory Requirements • Directly related work experience in a Service Desk environment is required, as well as technical knowledge and experience of the following:• Directly related work experience in a Service Desk environment. Three years within the past 5 years • Technical knowledge and experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Windows XP Professional. Three years within the past 5 years • Technical knowledge and experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Office 2007 Professional. Three years within the past 5 years • Working knowledge of DELL or HP desktop PCs. Three years within the past 5 years • Working knowledge of HP Laserjet printers.
