JD Edwards Developer PositionOur Client is looking for a JD Edwards Technical Developer to assist with the ongoing assessment & development of necessary interfaces and reports. As an Oracle specialist you will leverage your proven JDE technical skills and development experience to deliver technical support across all the various JDE modules including: Job Cost, Equipment Asset Management, Human Resources and Financial Management. You will utilize your demonstrated ability to liaise with our various business units to define the development requirements and then develop the solution. If your specialty is modification, customization and support this may be the role you have been looking for.Responsibilities: As a Developer you will: • Work in a collaborative team analyzing business issues and developing solutions • Develop new reports and interfaces in support of our existing JDE implementation• Provide break-fix analysis and support for resolving complex user how to questions• Work with project teams and the Oracle vendor to troubleshoot functional application issues • Author business process improvements and present recommendations to management • Prioritize objectives and contribute to project planning and status reporting • Recommend best practicesQualifications: Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following characteristics: • 5+ years of technical development employing expertise with JDE development tools such as: JDE Design Aid, Object Management Workbench, Debugger, XML publisher, • Experience with Oracle Application Development Framework such as JDeveloper and Web Services• C++ development experience • Create!form experience for forms development• Strong commitment to professional service excellence • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams • Superior verbal and written communication skills • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions • Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving• Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
