Responsibilities- Design and implement Web-based applications - Participate in the full lifecycle of a project, from sales and requirements definition through application and integration design through hands-on development and tuning, testing, deployment, and support - Solutions are typically built with Java/JSP, .NET, ASP/COM, and XML, but you may be called on to learn and use other languages and platforms- Out of box thinking Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related area- 2 to 5 years experience building data driven Web-based applications - Major in: Java/JSP, .NET, User Interface design / Dashboard design, Data warehousing applications- Minor in: ASP/COM, SQL, SSIS, XML and Data warehousing applications- Disciplined approaches to designing and developing applications and strong client-facing verbal and written communication skills- Strong understanding of information storage and manipulation techniques including relational database practices- Prior experience with search engines, object databases, data mining, OLAP, business intelligence tools, or network performance behavior a plus - Willingness to travel up to 20% to regional client sites
