Due to recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Java/Oracle Developer to round out our development team. We are looking for an expert Java developer with extensive Oracle db experience who is interested in learning new technology and fast-tracking their careers to the next level. This is a newly created position. Responsibilities Responsible for the Oracle Database and RAC clusters Responsible for database security, performance tuning, data backup and recovery Manage cluster configuration & load balancing configuration Design, implement and maintain complex software systems Object Oriented Design and development Manage scalable system design Qualifications Solid programming skills Understanding and experience with Java, SQL Proficient at Python, Scala, Erlang or other functional languages Experience with scripting languages Experience with concurrency design Linux/Unix proficiency VoIP telephony (SIP, PBX, CTI) experience preferred The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment and is more than a heads-down programmer.
