The Lead QA Technician is responsible for ensuring our games meet high quality standards before they are launched. They are responsible for managing and coaching the QA team, creating and executing test plans, analyzing results, and relaying the project status. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to be successful in this role.In this role, you will: Test games for correct functionality and assess their usability Create and execute test plans Supervise and coach a team of game testers Produce test results for review by game developers, producers and management. Monitoring progress and communicating project status Define, maintain and optimize the QA processThe ideal candidate will have: Experience leading a QA team in a game development context. A passion for creating great games and getting results through the QA/development process. Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills. Proven experience creating and driving comprehensive test plans that find defects across a spectrum of technologies and user experiences. A keen eye for identifying issues, extreme attention to detail for finding and reproducing software bugs.Special consideration for candidates with: Experience in C/C++ or Java Experience with server technologies: HTML and MySQL Mobile industry experience Video and audio editing knowledge
