Located in Toronto, our client is looking to add a Lead Web Developer to its team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Manager of Web Development, the Lead Web Developer is to take part in initiatives from conception to post-production. He/she will assist in architect technical solutions by investigating new technologies, coding prototypes, preparing project documentation, and performing presentations to management. The Lead Web Developer is also to serve as a mentor to more junior software developers and perform regular code reviews.Requirements & Qualifications:Candidates to meet consideration for this full-time career opportunity as a Lead Web Developer will have 6 or more years of experience of professional web programming, including 4 or more years professional experience programming Microsoft ASP.NET Forms or MVC applications. Experience programming large-scale, high-volume websites in a load-balanced or web farm /cloud environment as well as experience programming multi-lingual websites, including using techniques to Search Engine Optimize (SEO) pages in both languages are required.
