Responsabilities: • Maintenance of servers and administration of Apache, mail server and MySQL server • Database administration - maintenance, repairs and backups • Network communication • Compilation and installation of web-based software applications • Programming of scripts in PERL, Shell or Bash • Debugging and development of scripts • Development of database concepts and designs • Programming of web and database applications • Development of database applications for MySQL server • Communication with content developers Skills Required: • Bac in computer sciences or related field • 3 to 5 years in a similar role • Advanced knowledge of database programming (MySQL) • Advanced knowledge of Linux • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML • Knowledge of programming (PHP, PERL, Java Script, AJAX, .EXT) • Analytical mind, good logical thinking • Independence, responsibility, team spirit, good communication and social skills • Experience in other IT areas or project management is an asset • English is a must, French is an asset
