Job DescriptionAs a member of the Enterprise Projects team reporting to the Director, Solutions Development, the Enterprise Projects Manager will contribute to the development and implementation of the Corporation's strategic plan while professionally and proactively managing activities and processes relating to the implementation of solutions and services. The Manager must be able to translate a client needs and issues into actionable activities capable of support from our internal departments and be responsible for managing the scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning and tracking, change control, and risk management. It is expected that the Manager will have technical experience as this role may require finding new solutions to existing problems and roll out the solution to the existing customer install base.Further the Manager will use available project management tools and procedures to coordinate interdepartmental activities and ensure quality, accuracy, efficiency and on-time delivery of client projects. Key Qualifications and Competencies:Team management• Minimum 3-5 years' team management experience, including leadership of a mid-sized (8-12 person) cross-competency (e.g. technology, design, IA) team across a suitable range of project types (tech-heavy, design-intensive, etc) and industry verticals. • Demonstrated success in coordinating one or more projects of at least ten to twelve months' duration. Evidence of successful team leadership for multiple project lifecycles.• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor Business Analysts and other team members.• Experience managing technical solution implementationsProject management• Minimum 3-5 years' project management experience in a client service environment. • Proficiency in formal project management methods, including internal documentation and external communications. • Demonstrated ability to accurately project timing and associated costs across a range of project types, scale and complexity. • Experience-honed approach to risk aversion, risk management and change control. Knowledge base• First-hand oversight experience on technical development efforts and ability to speak to merits of, and differences between, commonly used applications and technologies• Familiar with the principles of management consulting, user experience, technology and business development • Knowledge of current events and issues across major industry verticals • Exceptional written skills including ability to author client communications, expository project documents (e.g. Statements of Work) and strategic analyses • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills• C# development experience is a must have.• Java development background is a nice to have.• This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceIf you are interested in joining a rapidly growing organization in this exciting role, please apply to careers@guestlogix.com with your resume attached.
