Goodlife Fitness membership discount and more.• Flexible work hours • State of the art facility with free parking, close to walking trails, shopping, restaurants and summer outdoor markets Your role at IMS: • Assembly/disassembly, programming, test, troubleshooting, repair/refurbishment, inspection, and packaging of manufactured product and returned goods.• Work cohesively with Customer Care to assist in the resolution of customer concerns• Maintain a clean, organized, safe and environmentally friendly work environment• Work order creation and maintenance• Financial transactions in support of warranty and non-warranty repairs• Product cost avoidance and recovery measures, which will include the identification and disposition NCR's, and assistance with PAR's and CAR's• Troubleshoot and analyze returned goods in an effort to improve the product quality, feeding information and requirements into future process or product changes.• Establish product troublehooting guidelines based on test capabilities and lessons learned• Assist in the establishment and maintenance of Manufacturing and Repair Centre processes and procedures• Create and maintain Manufacturing and Repair Centre KPI reports• Assist in the assembly, test and development of production capabilities• Contribution to manufacturing strategies and test plansAcknowledge 24/7 technical support by participating in on-call standards and procedures (cell phone will be provided, and is a requirement of the position)Skills, Experience and Education Requirements: • Minimum 3 years experience as a Manufacturing Technician, Repair Centre Technician, or Technical Customer Support Specialist• Minimum of an Electronics Technician diploma (or equivalent)• Has previous Contract Electronic Manufacturing experience• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze failures leading to the successful repair of product and continuous improvement initiatives• Must possess the ability to work under tight schedules and accurately document, summarize, and present results• Has an excellent attention to detail• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams• Process and goal orientated, with a strong personal drive for success• Experience working with manual and automated test systems• Previous experience working with mobile media and telematics products is an asset• Printed Circuit Board assembly, inspection and test knowledge is an assetHow to Contact us: Email: Send email submissions to careers@intellimec.com Be sure to reference Manufacturing and Repair Center Technician in the subject of the message to ensure your submission doesn't go unnoticed.
