Job Description - .NET DeveloperGood knowledge of software development methodologies and application architecture gained through at least 5 years of practical experience. Candidate must show development experience in multiple web-based applications.Strong English communication skills. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to work well in a team environment as well must be technical.Requirements: Technical Competencies- Mandatory - At least 3 years practical experience with the Microsoft .NET framework (up to .NET 3.5), including ASP.NET, C# , VB.NET, and Visual Studio.NET.- Knowledge of Classic ASP an added advantage- Experience with SharePoint portal solution- At least 5 years of Visual Basic 6.0 development experience and familiarity with Visual Studio and Visual Source Safe.- COM+ configuration and administration- MSMQ administration- IIS administration and troubleshooting on Windows 2000 server- Excellent knowledge of ADO, XSL, XML, HTML and scripting languages for the creation of web applicationsDatabase Skills- Knowledge of relational concepts, database design, and administration- Practical experience using Oracle 10g (Windows based) and PL\SQL programming- Advance experience in SQL - Added advantage for experience in BI technologies - Data Cube, ETL, OLAP etc
