Title: Application Architect / Development Team Lead Our Client: Our client is a leading provider of IT-based business solutions for the global marketplace. What We Need: Our client has an immediate need for an Application Architect / Team Lead who will be primarily responsible for the overall design of the application and working with the Functional Analyst to ensure the scoped application delivers the defined business requirements. This individual will also be responsible for providing leadership and mentorship to the developers on the team. As such, it is mandatory that the selected resource has experience in designing and developing web based application using C#, good debugging skills and knowledge of SQL is essential. Responsibilities:The selected candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment is a must. Specific deliverable responsibilities include: Provide guidance and mentorship to development team members Monitor progress of team task execution Develop the overall architecture of the solution Lead the overall design of the solution Lead the development of the application functional principles Develop / update system documentation as required Develop the core application fundamental components Lead the design and development of solutions for the application's functional components Lead the development of coding standards Lead the definition the and setting up the various technical environments (i.e. devt, test and UAT) Participate in performance testing and recommend any corrective measures Things You Need to Have: Technical Skills **Must be able to read and understand legacy C# 5-8 years of combined development and leadership experience At least 4 years of solid hands-on C# coding experience. At least 4 years of solid hands-on HTML, JavaScript and Style Sheet coding experience At least 3 years of solid hands-on experience in leading the design and coding of n-tier web applications using COM, COM+ or Web Services distributed across multiple servers. WCF experience would be a bonus Excellent analytical skills Performed Quality Assurance on Code and Unit testing Produces and reviews Architectural, Application and Technical documentation Other Skills Work with minimum supervision Work in a team environment Provide input into improving application design Coach and assist junior resources Perform QA on completed system components
