Our client, an IT consulting company is looking to expand their team. They require some .NET developers with strong consulting skills for assisting clients with defining, configuring and developing custom business solutions primarily built on the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 platform. This is an ideal position for individuals with a strong .NET development background who are looking to broaden their role to include matching client business requirements to SharePoint based solutions through a combination of out-of-the-box solution design, platform configuration and custom development. Ideal candidates would enjoy a team environment, client interaction, solution design and custom development in equal measures. You would be joining a dynamic, energetic, and close knit team that approaches business and technical challenges with enthusiasm and professionalism. Specific responsibilities include: - Gathering of client business requirements - Custom solution design - SharePoint application configuration and customization - Provide documentation for implemented solutions - Systems troubleshooting -- includes troubleshooting various systems and applications - Provide input for time estimates and scheduling - Build and maintain constructive working relationships with other team members by sharing information, ideas and knowledge openly and honestly. Desired Skills and Experience: - SharePoint Development experience - Experience with database driven applications - Experience developing .NET applications - Experience with all areas of the Software Development Life Cycle - Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Services skills - Strong time management skills - ability to work on multiple projects at the same time - Good verbal and written communication skills - Strong technical ability and familiarity with Microsoft products - Ability to debug and identify better ways of implementing solutions - Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
