Our client is currently looking to hire a full time back end PHP developer. Responsibilities and Duties: • Develop the server-side and front-end programming code from scratch or by adapting existing website graphics packages and software to meet functional requirements • Testing the website and identifying any technical problems and hitches • Determining any functionality that the site must support and developing content based on practical approved layout during functional requirements phase • Participate in the development of Functional Requirements documentation and project scope definition and estimating • Server-Side development and database design • Object Orientated Programming, Ecommerce and third party API integration (ie. Google, Facebook, Constant Contact) • Write bug reports and fix problems • Experience using version control (SVN) and bug tracking systems (Bugzilla) • Understanding of Ecommerce platforms/ technologies ( ie. ZenCart, Moneris)Requirements: • 3-5 years PHP, ASP, .NET Java experience • 3-5 years JavaScript/HTML/CSS, jQuery and Ajax knowledge experience • 2-3 years MySQL, MSSQL experience • 2-3 years CMS experience using MODX, Drupal • 2-3 years SEO, Google Analytics website integration experienceQualifications: • Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology • Must be able to stay on top of advancing internet and computer technology and its effects to the business environmentApply for this position through our Online Registration System.
