As a Senior Web Developer you will be tasked with creating, upgrading and refining custom web applications for use on our highly trafficked web site; we serve over 2 billion page views a month and 500 million images a day. Responsibilities -Expert level C#, ASP.NET, SQL, AJAX, CSS programming skills -Building high-performance, mission-critical applications -Understanding of web application structure from end-to-end -Participation at all phases of the SDLC -Excellent verbal and written communication -Documenting system configurations -Troubleshooting reported problems -Being on call during off-hours to deal with critical systems issues and outages Qualifications -Have at least 5 years of industry experience in building mid to large scale web application -Have a demonstrated proficiency with a range of Microsoft platform based systems products, including: Windows Vista, Server 2003, Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2005, 2008, Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 -Be an excellent written and verbal communicator; capable of dealing directly and confidently with systems administrators, project managers and client stakeholders -Be organized and able to effectively deal with multiple concurrent accountabilities -Love technology and always be proactively working to stay abreast of the latest in hardware and software developments -Be an expert in Security and high volume high scalability environments -Be self-directed and able to work with minimal guidance To apply:Follow link to apply directly for the Programmer - Media job opportunity
