BSC requires an experienced project manager to assist in the delivery of a contact management system for our client.This is a full time contract position beginning in July 2011, spanning approximately10 weeks.Description:This project is to improve the efficiency of direct customer contacts. The new system will provide enhanced flexibility and functionality to manage multiple customer contact channels (Telephone, Voicemail, Email, Fax, Online Chat, Customer Call Back request).Project management roles and responsibilities for this program include:1. Working with the sponsor to manage project plans, project financials, time tracking, team management 2. Ensure effective change management plan creation and execution. Utilize change management principles to implement the successful program. 3. Monitor, report, and ensure progress toward the projects through managing a program and reporting the progress made on each project including whether activities are proceeding on schedule and the status of project milestones. 4. Create, refine and implement a communication strategy for the program for all key stakeholders 5. Documents and manages all aspects of the Project Plan and the activities of the Teams and individuals working on the project to ensure project objectives are met, on-time, within budget and to the specified quality standards. 6. Accountable for involving the appropriate project team members in the creation of the project and change management planning and accountable for management and tracking of execution of all project and change management activities 7. Owns issues, issue resolution and escalation process on behalf of the Teams doing the work, and invokes standard processes to escalate and resolve issues. 8. Provide status reports to Project Sponsor, Steering Committee and to PMORequirements:PMP CertificationExperience in system integration, managing and leading change, stakeholder consultations and project management A summary of relevant assignments and responsibilities for the past thirty-six (36) months including an explanation on how the past projects are relevant to this project will be required.
