Company-wide, you'll find fast learners and self-starting engines, people who are quick to embrace change and take an idea into overdrive.The Road (Job Scope): This position will be providing prompt and reliable responses to telephone inquiries by dealers/NCI technical staff in diagnosing and repairing unusual and difficult vehicle problems. This will encompass entering all inquiry and repair details into a computer database and maintaining a current and comprehensive library of technical manuals and bulletins. Gathers and analyzes information pertaining to the operation of the TECH LINE.Tasks1. Ensure Nissan Dealers are successful in fixing vehicles correctly the first time by responding to Dealers' and NCI technical staff telephone requests for assistance in diagnosing and repairing unusual problems or difficult to repair vehicles. Assistance/guidance must be equally well communicated in either official language.2. Document and input all relevant details of each inquiry, together with the steps followed to ultimately repair the vehicle, into a computer database so it can be easily retrieved and understood by other technical personnel who encounter similar or related vehicle performance deficiencies in future. 3. Assemble and maintain a comprehensive library of technical manuals, bulletins and other electronic and hard copy publications to ensure all relevant information necessary to provide a high level of support to dealer technical staff is readily available for quick reference. Responds to inquiries from NCI Satisfaction Consultants, and/or directly with customers, and provides prompt and reliable technical information. 4. Remain current and knowledgeable of all technical developments by attending all new technical training courses developed by NCI and studying/understanding all publications supplied to NCI from affiliated groups (NRD, NNA, NMC, etc). Regularly and actively provide recommendations to publications personnel on subjects and content for technical bulletins, repair tips/procedures, etc. that will assist dealer technical personnel to more promptly and accurately diagnose and repair. 5. Minimum Qualifications• Fluently Bilingual (French/English) • College ,Technical Diploma or Highschool with concentration in automotive • Licensed automotive technician required • 5+ years hands on experience within a automotive dealership, service department or equivalent • 3 years experience in a Lead Technician within automotive industry • Superior communication and Interpersonal skills • Expertise working with automotive technical application to facilitate complex diagnostics • Able to operate vehicles with Manual, CVT, and Automatic transmission is essential• Ability to work independently Drive your career.
