Our Client, one of Toronto's most successful agencies is seeking a QA Analyst. The ideal candidate is responsible for implementation and execution of test cases for various online media components, including e-mail newsletters, banner ads, and websites. Key Responsibilities:•Develop, execute and document detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts.•Execute test cases within agreed timelines and standards•Escalate defects to the project manager (with major defects escalated immediately)•Work with development to ensure that development efforts support stable, reusable automated tests•Communicate deviations found to team members •Work with internal teams to proof and ensure that all deliverable meet documented requirements •Perform regression testing where requiredDesired Skills & Experience:•3-5 years experience of quality assurance and testing in digital environment•Post-secondary education in Computer Science, post-secondary specialized software testing training, or equivalent experience.•Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines•Excellent written and oral communication skills •Experience with automated testing tools •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills •Experience with online transactions/e-marketing and social mediaMust Have Skills / Experience:•Test / use cases creation •Integration testing / Production testing•Regression testing, black box testing, test to fail•Browser testing•Basic ad-hoc SQL query skills•SDLC (software development life cycle)•Understanding of software quality development and implementation•Understanding of software inspection, testing, verification and validation•Experienced with software test tools•Familiar with project management concepts and testing methodologies using toolsFor more information on this role please contact: Michael McCreadie at mmccreadie@hireglyphics.com or 416-583-2030 x 2004
