Quartech Systems Limited is seeking a Reports Developer with MS SQL Server and Cognos experience to work in a Lower Mainland Client Location.Minimum Qualifications• Experience with MS SQL 2008 R2 reporting tools (Report Builder 3)• Experience in writing complex queries against both operational and analytical data sources• Experience with SQL and MDX for the design and development of database views and functions• Experience designing and building MS reporting models• Past experience with Cognos 8.4 reporting tools• Understanding of Cognos (DM) and MS (SSIS) ETL tools• Experience with Sybase Power Designer data model tool• Ability to work in a high pressure environment with tight schedule and undefined requirements• Experience collecting and documenting requirements and translating into reporting specifications• Ability to work with analysts and testers to deliver solution that best meets end-user requirements• Ability to learn and adapt to new tool setsDesired Skills and Experience• Specific experience with SQL Server DB and Analysis Services• Experience with data modeling concepts is preferable• Insurance industry experience is desirablePlease visit www.Quartech.com to learn more about Quartech Systems Limited and to view a complete list of current opportunities.Please use the URL below to upload a current resume and apply for this position.
