Description • Install, configure, and maintain system software in support of business processing requirements• Assess, schedule and perform software installations of upgrades and patches to the system software• Monitor and tune the system software to achieve optimum performance levels, efficiency and reliability• Analyze and develop solutions and processes• Diagnose and resolve system software problems• Establish, and ensure compliance to, operating procedures for system software• Develop and maintain a comprehensive system software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation• Ensure appropriate level of technology, operating system and system software currency for existing and future business needs • Define implementation plan details, as they relate to system software components• Apply, and ensure compliance with, all appropriate IT standards (eg. Security, Architecture, Project Delivery Methodology, SOX, etc.)• Interact with various business partners• Monitor technology and make recommendations• Plan, manage and execute deployments within production infrastructure.• Ensure post-implementation stability• Validate potential new solutions within the existing lab environment, in accordance with company standardsPrA©requis/Requirements • Excellent understanding of workstation configuration management (System Center Configuration Manager SCCM 2007)• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Server 2000-2003-2008R2 operating systems• Enterprise-level systems architecture, administration, integration and solution design experience• At least 3 to 5 five years' working experience with the Microsoft Windows client/server platform• Possess very good knowledge of SMS 2003 and System Center Configuration Manager 2007 (more than 1,000 workstations), software distribution and inventory management• Excellent understanding of Active Directory, GPOs, Security Delegation, NTFS servers and workstation application hardening• Good networking skills and understanding of Windows networks (DNS, DHCP, WINS, routers and firewalls)• Good work experience in Microsoft-based technologies as well as mixed technologies• Great facility for resolving problems (GPO, rights and permissions delegation and software-related problems)• Ability to quickly learn specialized computer applications• Autonomous, ability to work in an organized manner according to official work processes (verification and migration plans, change management)• Technically resourceful and creative, able to work under pressure on several projects simultaneously• Scripting skills (VBS)• At least a diploma in computer science or equivalent--ideally a bachelor's degree in computer science, proven IT experience, or the equivalent• Extensive experience with moderately to highly complex corporate IT desktop infrastructures• MCSE 2000/2003 or MCITP certification (asset)FOR BETTER RESULTS, PLEASE APPLY ON LINE >>> WWW.ALTEO.CA
