Wireless Modem Test Specialist (USIM/UICC testing)
•    Conduct the execution of test plans pertaining the following areas:
  • USIM and UICC  testing
•    Using UMTS Wireless network Emulators.
•    Support the investigation, troubleshooting and resolution of handset/terminal issues;
Contribute to the development and evolution of testing methodologies - execution, verification/validation, reporting (e.g. automation, centralized issue management);
Contribute to the development and evolution of the processes and procedures required to integrate with multiple functional groups;
Stay current with testing methodologies and standards relating to the wireless industry;
Operate computers, servers, test equipment, diagnosis software and test automation software, as applicable to the execution of the test plans and methodologies.
Operate, calibrate and maintain the lab equipment and tools;
•    Setup the lab test equipment according with new specifications, including the development of new test scripts.
•    University degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Telecommunications;
Minimum of two (2) years experience in the wireless telecommunications industry specifically in GSM/WCDMA field,
•    Excellent software and network troubleshooting techniques and skills;
•    Experience with UMTS wireless network emulators (Rohde & Schwarz, Spirent);
•    Hands-on experience with USIM testing tools:
•    Comprion IT3 SIMfony
•    Comprion IT3 Prove.
•    Knowledge of related standards
WCDMA (HSPA) (3GPP): 31.124, 31.121; and ETSI 102230
Excellent multitasking skills for participating in concurrent projects in a cross-functional team environment;
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in the area of technical writing;
•    Experience in working with terminal and/or infrastructure vendors highly desired
•    Desire to learn and work in a continuously fast-changing environment;
•    Well-organized and detailed-oriented person;
•    Self-motivated, challenge-driven individual.
