Responsibilities will include;Determining the key needs of business decision makers and solving those needs by implementing suitable decision support systemsData modeling for transactional and data warehouse systems Design and development of databases using SQLSource control and configuration managementPackaging and deploymentSupport for testing and QA activitiesTechnical documentation of projectsProject Management and Business Requirements GatheringRequired Experience;• Working with relational database management systems (5+ years)• SQL Server 2005/2008 (3 years)• Iplementing SQL Server Analysis Services solutions• Advanced T-SQL and MDX skills• Solid understanding of ETL concepts and tools, specifically SSIS• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services• Knowledge of the full data warehouse development lifecycle• .NET Framework, 2.0, 3.5, 4.0• Developing smart client, web-based, or mobile enterprise applications• Working with SQL Server and ADO/ADO.NET • MS Visual Studio 2003/2005/2008• Smart Client deployment techniques • Ability to create data mining solutionsYou should also possess;• Ability to work to defined timelines and with minimum supervision• Strong communication, analytical, co-operation, and interpersonal skills working within a cross-functional team• Demonstrated needs analysis skills in a project environment• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDesirable factors for this role are;• Microsoft Certification in SQL or Business Intelligence• Application architecture, messaging patterns, ESB and SOA patterns• Experience with distributed components utilizing DCOM and/or .NET Remoting• Practical experience with unit testing (NUnit or equivalent)• Vertical experience in Financial, Healthcare, or Resources sector• Medical database experience• Experience with Business Scorecard Manager, Proclarity Analytics and other BI client tools• Data modeling tools such as ER/Win and Quest• Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and speak to clients in a non-technical manner (without jargon)All Systemgroup employees enjoy a competitive package of above-market compensation, banked overtime, flexible work environment, and accelerated career development paths.
