Qualifications• Degree or diploma in Computer Science.• Experience with Corporate firewalls and other security appliances and software.• Experience with Security Management Solutions and Enterprise Security Systems. Understanding of Federated Security.• Working knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP.• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems.• Must be able to work in a team environment.• Must be a good communicator both verbal and written.• Provide training to end users about security.Responsibilities• Ensure that user accounts have the correct level of security applied.• Ensure that the security management record is up to date.• Ensure that all devices attached to the corporate network are current with security software requirements.• Manage the physical security system and support the end users.• Ensure security is linked to consumed licenses so we are in compliance with its• license agreements.• Manage the rules of the firewalls and other security appliances and software.• Review security logs looking for anomalies.• Ensure that our security software is current and up to date on a regular basis.• Work with the Server Applications Group to ensure business system security based on roles.• Be responsible for documenting all security systems and processors and procedures used.
