Your role is to design, develop, and implement complex database systems, tools, and applications.This role is ideally suited to an exceptional developer who has extensive expertise in database design, implementation, and deployment. You work in C#, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and related Microsoft and Oracle technologies, and you are well versed in database abstraction layers, schema upgrade techniques, performance tweaking, enterprise replication strategies, etc. Importantly, you are driven by the prospect of helping build a great product with a team of dedicated individuals.You are equipped with a post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science or equivalent and have 5+ yrs of experience with large design efforts, enterprise level deployment, and 3-tier architecture. Additionally, you have: * Microsoft development expertise: .NET C#, SQL Server, Oracle 11g; * Experience building and deploying a software product with multiple installations; * Web-based application development experience; * Experience with multi-lingual data storage, schema extensibility, and XML-based storage; * Whiz with Visual Studio and related development tools; * Outstanding English communication skills both written and verbal.Knowledge of ODBC and JDBC, LINUX and spatial databases and GIS would be considered assets.
