SUMMARYThis position will be responsible for contributing specialized technical expertise to develop a multitude of enterprise level applications within the client's evolutionary communication platform. This position will participate in all phases of the development life cycle. Experience in delivering web solutions for financial industry is preferred.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES• Will report directly to a Development Manager (project status, resolutions to identified issues and mitigated risks).• Will design, develop and test a multitude of complex mission-critical enterprise web-based applications.• Will participate in design sessions lead by team leads / architects.• Will aid business analysts in gathering technical specifications from non-technical personnel.• Will be responsible for translating functional specifications into viable enterprise solutions.• Will participate in internal product testing to identify and resolve application issues as well as execute stress and scenario tests. • Will aid in identifying and recommending new technology choices and aiding in proper incorporation into existing products.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES• Experience in developing enterprise solutions interfacing with mission critical systems.• 6+ years in the IT industry with a full understanding of the system development life cycle.• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft web technologies in the Visual Studio .Net environment (C#, ASP.Net, web services, JQuery, Ajax, JSon, XML, JavaScript, HTML, SQL).• 2+ years of experience with database programming using SQL Server (schema design, database development as well as performance tuning).• 1+ years of experience in SQL Reporting Services.• 1+ year of AJAX development strategies. • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience.• Must be analytical, flexible, innovative, and self-motivated.• Must be able to succeed in a dynamic and fast paced team environment.NICE TO HAVE KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES• Microsoft developer and DBA certification. • Experience with SQL Server 2008.• Experience with Visual Studio 2008 Team System.• Experience with Windows Communication Foundation.• Experience with Team Foundation Server.• Experience in Agile development methodology.
