RESPONSIBILITIES• Management of compliance auditing services within Western Canada • Growing and developing an environmental compliance auditing team and Western Canada • Performing compliance audits • Developing business with new clients and internal divisions• Developing and managing existing and new environmental audit business contacts• Supporting proposals related to auditing and conducting environmental compliance and EMS audits• Developing and implementing EMS programs as well as developing and implementing external audit and EMS training programs • Maintaining an up to date knowledge of existing and emerging regulatory requirements and best practices • Mentoring junior and intermediate audit staff• Providing technical expertise to projectsQUALIFICATIONS• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience as an environmental auditor and manager with proven leadership skills• Demonstrated experience should include business development, lead auditor experience, environmental and EMS auditing, development of EMS programs and EMS training • Certification as a CEA and/or EMS (LA) under CECAB or Environmental Lead Auditor under RAB • Attention to detail• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
