Due to rapid company growth, there is an immediate need for senior Java developers (service bus, message bus, JEE mid-tier, systems integration experience) to help build out our platform service layer.The requirement is for middle tier experience, JEE. Experience with SOA or similar service oriented architectures. Experience with Service and Message oriented middleware is highly desirable. Understanding of Enteprise Integration patterns desirable. Experience with any open source service (ServiceMix, OpenESB, etc) is a highly desireable asset. IBM, Oracle service bus experience also welcome, must be open to transferring the knowledge. Experience with JMS or AMQP welcome. The need is for both raw developers and developers with a systems integration experience. UML, pattern knowledge and excellent design skills are all desirable. Hibernate experience is nice to have.  There is also a requirement for the team lead for the Java platform / middleware development group.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop middleware software solutions for n-Tier service oriented application architectures - Develop W3C compliant Web Services using Application Servers & Enterprise Service Bus technology in compliance with architectures, requirements, standards and guidelines established by the CTO- Develop & deploy SOA based systems integration solutions of internal and customer systems, eg. ERP, pharmacy management system, drug information systems, etc.- Participate in technology selection of application infrastructure in areas such as portal frameworks, federated identity management, SIP signalling, workflow engines, videoconferencing, or other business relevant major subsystems- Port existing .Net client application code from existing solution architectures over to new Platform architecture- Provide Fourth Tier problem management process technical support QUALIFICATIONS:- 5 or more years experience with systems integration, middleware and enterprise integration patterns & technology in large scale environments- 5 or more years experience with JEE 5 or 6 application server environments- Previous experience with systems integration environments such as telecommunications flow-through provisioning, business to business transactioning systems, consumer web portals or Enterprise Integration Architecture environments - Experience with open source Enterprise Service Bus technology (OpenESB, Apache ServiceMix, FUSE, Mule ESB) or equivalent proprietary integration bus (Tibco, Vitria, SeeBeyond, BEA)- Knowledge of BPEL or proprietary workflow engines.- In-depth and hands-on experience with XML, W3C WS-* Services & WS-I Basic Profile. - Experience in middleware, messaging and N-tier service oriented architecture with development and deployment in large scale - Knowledge of Java JEE 5 or 6, Unix/Linux, Ant, Eclipse development environment Knowledge of Microsoft, C#, Windows Server, .Net WCF, SparxSystems EA & TFS desirable- Knowledge of UML, enterprise integration patterns, design patterns, & data modelling- Knowledge of HL7 messaging protocol Interested candidates are to submit their updated resumes to Kerry at kbryski@goldminds.ca
