CrossCap is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in Chicago, Toronto, and Delhi.The RoleReporting into the Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding Crosscap's core products. Working closely with the Product Manager you will focus on creating new features while helping to on-board new clients and ensure their continued satisfaction. Core Responsibilities• Design and develop applications to support corporate and client business needs• Mentor junior developers• Responsible for coding, unit testing, packaging, deployment and support of builds• Responsible for promotion of builds from development to QA environment• Prepare technical designs from business specifications by interpreting customer's needs, both internal and external• Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions as required• Interact with client technical representatives as required• Interact with in-house systems administration team as required• Be actively involved in the creation of estimates and timelines• Work effectively under tight deadlines• Strong knowledge of object oriented design n-tier systems• Self-starting entrepreneurial individual with a proven track record of deliveryQualifications• 5+ years of experience developing web-based J2EE systems• 5+ years of experience working with Linux (Redhat preferred)• 3+ years of experience working with JBoss• 5+ years of experience working with SQL including: design, queries, triggers, and stored procedures (MySQL experience preferred)• Experience developing Java applications that involve networking• Proficient in XML technologies (Schemas, XPath, XQuery, etc.)• Experience developing multi-threaded Java applications• Hands on experience with: JDBC, Struts, JSP, Servlets, EJB 2.1• Experience with WebServices and SOAP• Hands on experience with: Javascript, AJAX (JSON, jQuery) and CSS• Thorough knowledge of J2EE application deployment, configuration, and optimization• Hands on experience with J2EE frameworks including: JSF, Spring, EJB3 and Hibernate.• Hands on experience with CSV including: branching, merging, and tagging of multiple repositories.
