We enable video conferencing from soft phones, dedicated hardware, through to 3G mobile phones. ?POSITION SUMMARY ?The Software Engineer will work as part of the Technology Team to develop, test and implement enterprise scale Web/J2EE applications. Other responsibilities will include working with IT and business analysts to integrate our applications with in-house business systems. The ideal applicant will have a wide exposure to alternative technologies such as PHP,SOAP, scripting languages, and multiple development frameworks. ??ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSMinimum four (4) years experience as a Java/Web Developer with post secondary education in a related discipline Practical experience with Web related technologies (CSS, HTML, XHTML, XML,XSLT and JavaScript )Practical experience with Java, JSP and Servlets. Practical experience with Web Services (SOAP, XML-RPC, REST).Excellent documentation and communication skills. Good experience with SQL (Oracle and MS-SQL variants). Linux scripting and web scripting experience (PHP/Python/Perl/Ruby)Experience with TCP/IP networking programming, and familiarity with networking in general.Experience with both the Linux and Windows platforms.Experience with the LAMP stack of web development.?ADDITIONAL ASSETSKnowledge of Video Conferencing or VoIP standards (H.323, SIP)Knowledge and experience with AJAX OO Methodologies Knowledge and experience with J2EE Design Patterns Experience with configuration of application servers such as JBoss ?If you're driven to take video conferencing technologies to the next level, it's time you join our team.
