This Senior Web Producer role is in the retail industry, in a corporate and “people loving" environment with a dress code. The role of Senior Web Producer is to be responsible for the production of all design, content and initiatives, including metrics monitoring. He/she will oversee the development of the implementation of all elements of both Web sites, coordinating and leading the efforts of online production, third-party vendors, ISPs (where applicable), and the internal Web team. The Senior Web Producer will be tasked with leading synergistic, consistent branding and image for all online initiatives. He/she must be able to take a proactive lead in ensuring optimum Web site usability and simplicity for customers and manage Web site updates and improvements through internal coordination with IT development, business owners and QA teams. Additional responsibilities are to include analyzing Web measurement data to make recommendations and implement improvements, working closely with the design teams to ensure designs are translated accurately into visually compelling Web pages, coding and testing Web sites and communicating changes to critical users, including Senior Management and the internal Communications team. The Senior Web Producer will oversee/coordinate all additional online projects deemed appropriate/necessary as well as provide delegation and support to the Web Designer vendor.Requirements & Qualifications:The Senior Web Producer must be a creative thinker with the ability and vision to take creative concepts to design execution. His/her skills will have been developed through 5 or more years of related , ideally supported by post-secondary training in E-Business or web design.
