This person will gain detailed knowledge of all of product offerings and translates client requirements into solutions. The Software Configuration Engineer performs software configuration and development duties on new implementations, generates and distributes recurring client reports, and executes change and user support requests for existing customers.Requirements:• 2- 3 years experience in a software engineering or development role • Experience with Web Application Development with ASP, ASP.NET, C#, VB, VB.NET, XML and SQL• Knowledge of HTML, Flash, and other browser technologies.• Experience with image editing software -- Photoshop, ImageReady.• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Macros and pivot tables as well as Access a plus.• Excellent written documentation abilities.• Detail orientation and capacity to perform to deadlines and schedules.• Ability to work in a team environment.Job Responsibilities:• Working with Client Management, Product Management, Development, and QA teams in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. to implement solutions to meet client needs.• Configuring software solutions as required for a client engagement.• Develop custom components as required for client data integration and meeting specific business requirements• Working closely with Lead Project Manager in project management activities• Ongoing support of clients by phone and e-mail, working closely with key client contacts and end users to provide outstanding service.• Executes Configuration Change Requests from Client Managers for Existing Customers.• Executes User Support/Management Requests.• Support of Business Analyst data & information requests.• Develop internal tools to support/automate administration, configuration, implementation and analysis of new/existing clients.
