Qualifications for this role include:? 5+ years experience in Software development? 2+ years as a Development Manager or Team Lead? BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience? Demonstrated passion for customer experience and usability? Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership? Experience in the development and architecture of distributed/scalable/fault tolerant systems and high-volume transaction applications? Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, results driven environment? Familiar with Linux (Or Unix) environment? Experience in testing and a passion for producing high quality code? Understanding of relational databases, relational modeling and SQL (Oracle/MySQL)? Agile practices and methodologies such as Test Driven Development and Scrum? Experience leading software development life cycle using appropriate processes and best practices? An understanding of OO design patterns and programming (Java preferred)?
