Our client is looking for an application support consultant. The team is responsible for System Enhancements, L2 support, Release and deployment activities. Candidate responsibilities would include - Translation of business use cases into technical specs- Hands on development on small projects and enhancements- L2 Support activities - Interfacing with the end users to answer system queries and incidents - Ensuring tickets are captured, reported and analyzed regularly to drive process improvements The candidate will have the opportunity to- Get exposure to multiple systems- Be part of the process standardization across EDG- Learn business processes in Prime Brokerage domain-------------------------------------------------------------Ce poste consiste a fournir des services de developpement concret et de soutien aux applications au sein de l’equipe Ingenierie, soutien et deploiement du secteur Donnees de reference sur les clients du groupe Enterprise Data. L’equipe est chargee des ameliorations aux systemes et du soutien L2, ainsi que des activites se rapportant aux versions et au deploiement. Le candidat retenu assumera notamment les responsabilites suivantes :- Traduction des dossiers commerciaux en specifications techniques. - Developpement concret de petits projets et d’ameliorations. - Activites de soutien L2.- Communication avec les utilisateurs finaux pour repondre aux requetes a propos des systemes et regler les incidents. - Saisie, signalement et analyse des billets de façon reguliere afin que des ameliorations puissent etre apportees aux processus.Le titulaire du poste aura la possibilite : - de se familiariser avec plusieurs systemes;- de participer a la normalisation des processus au sein du groupe EDG;- d’apprendre les processus d’affaires dans le domaine du service de courtage de premier ordre.    Skills Required- Strong Relational database experience with focus on Sybase - Java Client-server development, Struts, Servlets, JSP, SOAP, XML, JDBC, Javascript.- Objective Oriented Programming and Unix/Linux environment experience- Shell scripting, Ant, Perforce, Autosys - Strong problem solving & debugging skills- Ability to work in individual capacity & self-learner--------------------------------------------------------------- Solide experience des bases de donnees relationnelles, particulierement Sybase. - Developpement de l’architecture client-serveur Java, Struts, Servlets, JSP, SOAP, XML, JDBC, Javascript.- Experience de la programmation orientee objet et de l’environnement Unix/Linux. - Interpreteur de commandes, Ant, Perforce, Autosys.- Excellentes aptitudes a la resolution de problemes et au debogage. - Capacite a travailler de façon autonome et d’apprendre par lui-meme.    Skills Desired   - PERL- Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate- Ext-JS or similar Javascript frameworks- Ivy, JUnit--------------------------------------------------------------- PERL- Connaissance de Spring, Hibernate- Ext-JS ou cadres de travail Javascript similaires- Ivy, JUnit
