This full time job opportunity is with a bleeding edge digital experience agency located at Spadina and King in Toronto. They are looking for a Technical Architect Lead to work in a client-facing capacity and to lead an internal team of 4 developers. The base is between $70K - $90K, depending on skills and experience. The company is an open source shop so need people with strong LAMP and CMS development and design skills. The person will spend about 30% in development and 70% in high-level design.We are looking for candidates that would fit an interactive digital agency environment with excellent client facing and communication skills, team lead experience and hands-on development skills. Requirements:A· 8+ years experience as a technologist in the digital space with demonstrated progressive levels of responsibility.A· Strong technical background (i.e. programming, data architecture and analysis - with a specific focus in the LAMP stack)A· Experience with open source CMS packages (Drupal, Joomla, Expression Engine) and / or frameworks such as CakePHP, CodeIgniter etc. an assetA· A proven track record of architecting and building a range of websites including simple microsites to larger, complex web integrationsA· Ability manage web development teams in an open source web environment (i.e. LAMP)
