IT Operations and the Project Delivery Office (PDO) work closely together to provide an efficient and reliable IT environment.The PDO focuses on effective prioritization, solutioning, and management of IT projects.Currently several projects are underway including implementation of COTS software, inhouse development, in addition to the leveraging of existing systems through configuration and technology related initiatives.The IT Operations team provides front line support, maintenance, planning, and development for the infrastructure and business applications, as well as resourcing for ongoing projects supported by our Project Delivery Office (PDO). Our applications consist of a mix of net new development, vendor supported packages as well as internal support and enhancements of legacy systems. The IT Operations team is made up of approximately 40 multi-vendor contract resources and operates in a pool concept where contract resources are utilized across varying applications, based on skills and abilities, to provide the most efficient support to the business.Description of RequirementsOur Client is looking for two senior technical leads for our database and messaging areas. The tech leads will work closely with resources in their area to manage and maintain their respective systems and to be accountable to IS management to deliver the services within their area of responsibility.Additionally, tech leads will work with other tech leads and architects in planning and solutioning forums to develop maintenance and upgrade plans, ensure system stability, and coordinate project driven technical and process change.Tech leads will also be involved in evaluating new technologies additionally, tech leads will work with other tech leads and architects in planning and solutioning forums to develop maintenance and upgrade plans, ensure system stability, and coordinate project driven technical and process change.Tech leads will also be involved in evaluating new technologies and tools, lead R&D and proof of concept testing, and participate in Enterprise Architecture discussions.
