Location: Bell Media Inc. -- 299 Queen St, W. TorontoSalary: Group G - Commensurate with qualifications and experienceHours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required. This job may require overnight, weekend and shift workResponsibilities:• Building robust, extensible and extremely efficient C# .Net powered Internet applications for a wide range of CTV properties• Building and extending database elements (MS SQL 2005, 2008)• Maintaining and extending custom C# applications• Helping develop, update and maintain scripts that manage and process XML feed data• Developing tools that integrate seamlessly and efficiently with existing HTML documents, .NET controls, and AJAX applications• Other duties as assignedQualifications:• Three years experience in Microsoft technologies (ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL) • Experience with Microsoft ASP.NET MVC• Experience with Test Driven Development or unit testing an asset• Experience in an Agile development environment• Experience in other platforms and other frameworks such as Ruby on Rails an asset;• Exposure with ORMs such as NHibernate an asset• An understanding of web application scaling & caching strategies• A working knowledge of JavaScript; • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server and IIS;• Experience with web services• Well organized with good communication skills, patience and an ability to organize and prioritize multiple projectsApplication Details:Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online at www.bellmedia.ca, or forward a current resume, in confidence to: Human Resources Please quote reference number: SB-24112011Bell MediaP.O.
